Who are we?

We want to share the greatness of Gurbani and the glorious history of the Sikh Gurus who blessed the world and humanity with their teachings and their presence.

We want to share the greatness of Gurbani and the glorious history of the Sikh Gurus who blessed the world and humanity with their teachings and their presence.

We want to reveal the rich tapestry of Sikh history that is filled with the lives of Sikhs who have walked the path of love set out by the Gurus. Not only are these individuals inspirational but their lives also illuminate the Guru’s message by showing how the teachings are to lived and implemented day by day.

Our Goal

Our goal is simple, we want to inspire people to understand and build their relationship with Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the eternal Guru of the Sikhs.

With the blessings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji we aim to do this by:

  1. Organizing events in Gurdwara’s and other locations for practical engagement in Sikhi teachings (including translations of Gurbani, Kirtan, Simran, Katha etc.)
  2. Producing easy to understand videos shared via our YouTube Channel
  3. Running camps/retreats where learning and practice go hand in hand
  4. Providing opportunities for seva (selfless service) through a range of projects
  5. Producing literature and resources
  6. Teaching Santhia (how to read Gurbani with correct pronunciation)

We understand that one of key barriers facing people trying to learn about Sikhi is language. The writings in Guru Granth Sahib Ji are in Gurmukhi script and much of the history and explanations of the Gurus teaching are done in Panjabi.

In order to work around this barrier we deliver our talks and workshops in English and are working on a French and German service as well.

We firmly believe that while we can learn a lot at home, at university, in study circles etc, there is nothing that compares to sitting at the feet of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and learning about Sikhi in their presence. To connect and build a relationship with Guru Sahib we need to meet Guru Granth Sahib Ji as much as possible. To do this, we have to go to the Gurdwara Sahib. Siting in sangat not only reduces our ego but we get countless blessings from Guru Ji. As such, we put a heavy emphasis on attending Gurdwara Sahib and making this a part of our daily lives.

Taking One Step Together

Sikhi is so beautiful that we could never truly do it justice, but we must try. Guru Nanak Sahib Ji came to show us the truth of the world and to join us with Vaheguru (God). Each of us has our own path to walk to the goal of becoming one with Vaheguru and for this purpose Guru Granth Sahib Ji is here for each of us. To help us, support us, guide us and to bless us.

So it doesn’t matter if you’ve never heard of Sikhi before, or whether you’ve been traveling Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s path of love for decades, there is so much inspiration we can take, so much to learn and experience. The path of Sikhi can take us to a place beyond our understanding, but it has to walked, it has to be experienced. We want to help you take that first step, or that hundredth step, and at the same time we pray that Guru Sahib keeps us walking right alongside you.

Sikh 2 Inspire… aspire to be inspired.
